HIS.com Status: Postini Weekend this past weekend

Postini made the planned move to their new data center on Saturday - the 
only side-effects were that https://login.postini.com wasn't available 
for several hours, and there was a period when spam filtering seemed 
less effective than normal - we saw a lot of the current crop of 
.pdf-attachment spam come through.

Everything's normal at this point - if you got more spam than usual this 
past weekend, this is why.

Postini has performed extremely well - the volume of spam and virus 
traffic is unbelievable, and they're able to block nearly all of the bad 
stuff, with very few false positives that wind up in user quarantines.  
They're definitely the best in the business.

They're also in the process of being acquired by Google - we've been 
assured that this will have no impact on our relationship with them; 
Google is currently using them to block spam and virus traffic for Gmail.
