A number of people have asked where they can go to buy traditional 
access (using a newsreader, vs. a web browser) to usenet.

Some good candidates:

    http://www.readnews.com
    http://www.supernews.com
    http://www.giganews.com
   
Also, if you're a Verizon DSL or FIOS subscriber, or a Comcast customer, 
those providers still operate usenet servers that you can access, at 
least while connected to their networks.
