HIS.com Status: Verizon hot-cut early Thursday

[HIS System Status Updates]

We've been informed that Verizon is planning to switch physical routing 
of one of our fiber circuits between Washington DC and Kensington, MD 
sometime between midnight and 2 AM Thursday.  This will affect access to 
servers at our Kensington, MD facility for about 15 minutes.  Impact 
should be minimal since automatic-failover backup circuits are in place.
