Tragic loss

I wanted today to write to wish you all a Happy New Year, but instead must
inform you of the tragic loss of George Doub the creator and founder of
Family Wellness ­ a man very near and dear to our SmartMarriages family. He
was a recipient of the Smart Marriages Impact Award, has presented at every
Smart Marriages conference since our beginning in 1997 and has trained
hundreds of us in the Family Wellness program at Smart Marriages training
institutes, Master sessions, workshops, and keynotes but has also trained
thousands more in the United States around the world in Germany, Singapore,
Fiji, Australia, etc and on military bases in the United States and abroad.
The Family Wellness program has been delivered to more than a million
families.  George died on Tues, Dec 28 when he was doing a good deed -
cutting up a tree that had fallen on his neighbor¹s property.  He was
working by himself when the tree rolled on him.  By the time medics arrived,
it was too late.  He is survived by his wife and a son and daughter and the
warm and loving Family Wellness team.  I will send his obit as soon as I
