It happens every year right after Valentine¹s Day calls from people
looking for Marriage & Relationship Education Classes dramatically increase.
I guess all the romance makes people painfully aware if their relationship
needs a tune-up. I send them all to the Directory of Program. If you have
classes, get them listed. If you have updates to your class schedule, send
them.
I¹ll list a sampling of Classes for Couples that are coming up in March and
April please forward these to your lists and especially to anyone you know
who is in need of a class or retreat. I was upset on my recent trip that
everyone I met seemed to be impacted by a current/active divorce scenario
either their own marriage was on the rocks or the marriages of their adult
kids were ending. We¹d talk and when I said what I did, told people about
Smart Marriages, they¹d volunteer that their kids had just filed for
divorce. Oy!
If your adult kids are in a shaky marriage, give them a class as a gift and
offer to babysit. Even if their marriage seems fine, give them a gift as
insurance and a fun marriage weekend away. You could not make a better
investment in your family¹s future.
There is also a dramatic increase in the number of callers looking for
Training to become Marriage Education Instructors. I guess Valentine¹s Day
has the effect of raising awareness about all the misery and people want to
be able to help. I send those callers to the Training Opportunities
