tweets, twubs....moving faster and faster, getting dizzy - 6/19/09

I just got off a conference call with Julie Baumgardner, Nisa Muhammad, and
Marc Payan where they were trying to pare down all the STUFF they have to
share with us at their Sat Night Marriage Rally Teach In - 7:30pm.  It's
going to be live and fast and full of ideas for how to, as Nisa put it,
implement major league marriage ideas on a minor league budget.  I'm so
excited, I'm dizzy.  You do not want to miss it.  If you need to change
flights to be there, then do it.

Every time I talk to Marc I learn more about how to Tweet and Twitt and,
now, Twub 

Let me see if I can explain what I just learned.  First, I see that more and
more of you have Tweet accounts. If not, sign up at tweet.com.  If you can
buy a book on amazon or book a flight on expedia, you can open a tweet
account.   And, I hope you are using Tweetdeck.com to manage things - it's
crucial to be able to keep track.

NOW: twubs.com (it's the site that is allowing the Iranian protestors to
organize).  That's their twub (rhymes with club, get it?).  We have our own
twub for the smartmarriages conference.  If you want your tweets to appear
on our twub page add the hashtag #smc09 - and it's automatic. You add it by
simply typing the tag #smc09 at the end of any tweet message.  Invite people
to register for a door prize at your exhibit, or to attend your morning
roundtable, or meet in the hot tub - whatever - and add #smc09.

You'll also see that the hashtag #mtc09 appears - that's for
MarriageTechCamp that Marc Payan will teach at 5:15pm on Thurs at Smart
Marraiges - and basically throughout the conference.  He'll be
MarriageTechCamping it from his exhibit where he'll live stream conference
excitement to the web.

Trust me, this is just the tip of the excitement-burg......so much going on
out there on the ME (marriage education) cutting-edge.  -d
