- GET A HEAD START 
I've now got the Badge Letters and Room Locators posted on the
Website plus info about how to add a banquet or training institute or
change a session. The Badge Letters will be included WITH your badges (these
go in the mail Monday June 22) and the hotel map and room locators will be
included in your on-site packets, but this gives you sneak peek/head start
if you're curious.

Remember it's July 4th week (lots of folks on vacation) and reserve your

- CONFERENCE RECORDINGS

No, the training institutes are NOT recorded. Neither are the roundtables or
the special bonus Teach-Ins on Thursday at 5:15pm.
Everything else is recorded - keynotes, banquets, lunches and all workshops.

BTW, even though we're printing badges as I write this, it is not too late
to add Institutes and Banquets - or to add your spouse at the early rate.
Just call 651-789-3738.  If you receive your badge, just bring it to the reg
desk in Orlando and pick up a new badge. - diane

- BULLETIN BOARDS - NETWORKING EVENTS/MEETINGS

I'm getting a bunch of questions about adding gatherings & meetings.  AT
THIS POINT ­ the on-site packets are stuffed and the conference signs
are made ­  if you decide to hold a gathering just pick a quiet corner
or meet in a coffee shop, etc. and announce your meeting on the bulletin
Boards near the Smart Marriages registration desk.  There are MANY
Networking events including the Exhibits (that's the best place to
*network*); the two banquets and four lunches; the Morning Roundtables
(Thurs, Fri, Sat at 7:30am); Wed Gatherings 8:30pm; Thurs 5:15pm Teach-Ins;
Film Festivals - just check the boards when you arrive. And, rest up.  Sleep
as much as you can in advance so you have the energy to make it to as much
networking as possible.   - diane

- RETROUVAILLE

> I wasn't able to attend the Retrouvaille workshop last year, and I see that it

Yes, this is the first year Retrouvaille is not presenting a workshop. I was
told they didn't have a presenting team available.  They will, however, have
an exhibit.  Those staffing the exhibit are experts (I've talked to them)
and they will be able to explain how to establish a Retrouvaille chapter in
your community.  You can also download or purchase a CD of the Retrouvaille
workshop from last year - or from any of the past years.  Call 800-241-7785.

- DOOR PRIZE AND ON-SITE PACKET QUESTIONS

Many of you have sent in very generous give-away offers and I'm sorry not to
have made this clear, but the Door Prize spots at the keynotes are all
"taken"....we have very limited time for drawings and the keynote speakers
have first dibs at these spots/giveaways.  The door prize
schedule is included in the badge mailing letter and will be posted at the
conference.  Remember you have to be in the ballroom 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE
KEYNOTES ARE SCHEDULED TO BEGIN TO WIN.

Ditto for the On-Site Packets.  I just had two requests this week to put
something in the on-site packets.  Those were stuffed weeks ago and are at
the hotel waiting for us.  - diane

- CE TIMING?    

> I will need my conference certification by the end of July.  Can you get these
> to us by the end of July?  If necessary I will pay an extra fee.  It's an
> emergency for my license.  Please let me know if I need to do something now.

We don't "get them to you".....you can go online starting July 11 and
complete an online evaluation and PRINT your own continuing education
certificate/CE certificate.  It's instantaneous. - diane
