When John's staff told me about the package today I asked them to write it
up to be sure I heard correctly.  John Gray is basically giving away his
books - get in line early!  We'll allow you to purchase as you enter the
banquet ballroom and then you can have him sign books AFTER the banquet. We
sold out almost immediately last year and people were quite upset - and that
was without this buy one, get three free deal.

The banquet starts at 7pm Thurs night.  They're only shipping a few of these
special packages to Orlando. Get to the ballroom early and I'll try to get
the doors open by 6:30pm to try to let you in to buy books before the meal

event of the conference - trust me on this one.

I must have had a dozen reactions to the space launch announcement that were
along the lines of *this is SO COOL!!*  People are definitely excited and
hoping for good weather.  But this one below from KR was my favorite. Last
year there were some fascinating rumors about me (probably caused by my
shoes).  This year I guess someone noticed the wart on my nose.  - d

I'll try, but in case the shuttle fizzles, I've ordered up a full moon.  No

- INCREDIBLE RESTAURANT SPECIALS!!

And, this.  When I was down for my site visits I loved the look and smell
and menus at the hotel's two fine-dining restaurants but didn't eat in
either because I felt I couldn't afford it.  And, I told them so.  They've
(just today) come up with a wonderful fixed price (prix fixe) menu at $25pp
tax and tip included at both A Land Remembered and at Cala Bella!! That is a
great deal. Three courses.  Land Remembered is their Golf Clubhouse/deluxe
Steakhouse.  And, Cala Bella is really scrumptious fine Italian.  Three
entrée choices at each: Saffron Shrimp, Chicken Cacciatore, Marsala Pork at
Cala Bella and Filet of Beef, Chilean Seabass, and roasted chicken at Land
Remembered. 

IF you'd like to eat at either/both of these, I encourage you to make
reservations - especially for Wed, Fri or Sat nights.  There's another group
in house and we'll be in such a rush and such a crush these nights.  Call
ahead this week and reserve.  These prix fixe menus are available Mon July 6
- Sun July 12, 5:30 - 10pm.

Café Osceola is also offering a 25% discount on their full breakfast, lunch,
and dinner buffets.  And, I do mean FULL - don't injure yourself. Or, order
off the menu.  Inclusive buffet prices: breakfast $17; lunch $18; dinner
$23.   The Café does not take reservations.  They'll open early for us Wed
night so we can make it to the keynote on time at 6:30pm.
