I was going to wait until next week to announce this to the list by which
time I'd thought most of you would have received brochure in the mail, but
I'm hearing from people who have already received brochures and who had
questions.  I suggest you do wait until you have the brochures before you
attempt to register.  Even though you can download a brochure, it's probably
easier with an actual brochure in hand.  Download:

All three questions were about group registrations: 1) You CAN register
online for the Group Registration.  2) The group discount applies to groups
of 5 (4 register and a 5th is free).  There is no discount for a 6th & 7th
attendee.  3) There is no limit to how many people from a church attend the
Free Fireproof Training Institute.

The brochures, by the way, are beautiful.  Last year (2008) I was upset
because I thought the type was too small.  In 2007 I was upset because the
photos were blue.  This year I'm very happy!  Everyone looks great and the
ads are gorgeous.  - diane

- DON'T WORRY, IT'S JUST MY FIRST WEDDING
.... is the title of Kay Reed's lecture at Harding University, 7pm, Feb 26,
Heritage Auditorium.  FREE and open to the public.  Most of you aren't from
Searcy, Arkansas home to Harding, but Kay will come to you. She's the
executive director of the Dibble Institute, recipient of the Smart Marriages
Impact Award, and one of the top national experts on School/Youth Marriage &
Relationship Education and she does a great job of presenting the rationale
for starting with the kids ­ teaching them that they CAN learn how to have
great marriages.  "Don't Worry, It's Just My First Wedding" explains how and
why Charlie Dibble founded the Dibble Institute and why we should all join
his vision of educating youth about marriage.  For a variety of top

At least four proposals of $10K - $20K each will be awarded. Applicants must
have completed a Ph.D. in a social science discipline. Preference
will be given to new and emerging scholars. Deadline: April 6, 2009.  For

- MONTANA NO-FAULT BILL DIES IN COMMITTEE

Bill That Would Have Reintroduced ³Fault² Divorce Likely Dead

A bill introduced in the Montana House that would have restored ³fault² as a
basis for divorce appears to be dead in the House Judiciary Committee.

House Bill 419 . . . would have also mandated that a couple go through
counseling before a divorce could be granted, among other things.

It died in committee on a 9-9 tie vote.

Montana has been a ³no fault² divorce state since 1970, a law which
according to the bill ³created a culture of divorce for any and every reason
to the detriment of children, the state of Montana has a compelling interest
in reforming no fault divorce law with the intent of supporting the
long-term stability and happiness of marriage and thus the health, safety,
and general welfare of children.²
