Diane,
You might want to correct a typo in your last email about the early
registration rate.  You said we'd save $60 if we registered by May 12.  It's
actually only $50. I just faxed my registration form last week and paid $265
(student rate). The registration form says it's $315 after May 12. That's
$50, not $60. Letting people know will save time for people who keep adding
it up and rubbing their eyes and adding it again. Like I did.

You are right.  The early-bird savings is $50. The difference between
early-bird (before May 12) and later registrations is $50 whether you
register at the regular, spouse, student rate and whether you register by
mail, fax, or online.  BUT if you register ONLINE, you save an additional
$10. Which is where I came up with the $60 savings. This may just confuse
people more.  

The bottom line: REGISTER FOR THE SMART MARRIAGES CONFERENCE BEFORE MAY 12
TO SAVE $50.  REGISTER ONLINE TO SAVE AN ADDITIONAL $10 and to be included
in a special door prize drawing - we give away four registrations to the
2009 conference.

First, you for sure are admitted to this course.

Second, I know it's HARD to believe, but you not only get trained and
certified in this Institute as a PREPARE/ENRICH instructor (in-person by
David Olson, the founder himself), but you also receive all the materials as

receive.  We don't have room to list all this info in the brochure. START

The training is invaluable, but if you're adding up the bottom line, in many
of the Institutes you receive material worth more than the price of
admission.  And, in one you even get money back: see #115 - School/Youth
programs.  The purpose of the Institutes is to enable more of you to go
forth and teach....

Diane, 
I'd like to suggest that you suggest that if people can't get into the
Hilton, they consider a roommate.  You might also suggest that those with
rooms consider offering a spot in their room to someone. I've attended Smart
Marriages for seven years and have always found a roommate and made many
very good friends this way.  Plus you split the price of the room.

You're right, that's a solution I didn't mention.  I'll go post it on the

Also, the Parc 55 has now made ONLINE hotel reservations available.  See

Also, someone emailed to tell me their is a YOUTH HOSTEL not even half a
block from the Hilton.  He said he stayed there and he thinks it's on Mason
St.

- NEED TO CHANGE A WORKSHOP
I received my confirmation and see that I must have keyed in the wrong
number for a Saturday morning workshop.  What's the easiest way to change
this. I registered online. Sorry for being a bother.
