FAQS: FREQUENTLY ASKED CONFERENCE QUESTIONS

- GROUP REGISTRATION- THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

>> Can spouse and student rates qualify as part of the four needed to form a
>> group, to earn the one free conference registration?

YES. Spouse and student registrations can make up the first four
qualifying. EACH of the first four should register online. Select the
appropriate rate for themselves. Then the fifth person who is taking the
free registration, selects the group rate "$0.00 and puts the NAMES of the
four registrations that qualified him in the box provided.

- HOW TO PAY FOR SPOUSE FOR SAT NIGHT EVENT?
>> I am paying for my registration with a govt credit card. I can't put my
>> spouses ticket for the Saturday Night Live John Gray event on my government
>> card. What should I do?
>> Larry

You should go ahead and register online. That way you get the full $60
discount and will be included in the door prize drawing. Mail a check for
your wife's Sat Night registration to the address on the registration form,
(page 23) with a note explaining that she's your guest and that her Sat
night ticket should go on your badge. Sat Night event is $55. For an
additional $130 she could register for full day Saturday and attend the Sue
Johnson, "Hold Me Tight" and the Cloe Madanes "Ultimate Relationships" plus
three 90 min workshops in addition to the John Gray keynote, which is
included in the Sat registration. Or, for $255 she could join you for the
full conference.

- TOOLS OF THE TRADE KEYNOTE
>> I'm pleased that you're repeating the Tools of the Trade keynote. I
>> suggested that you make it an annual event on my evaluation. My question is
>> how do I submit a tool to be featured?

>> just purchasing/attending Thursday conference?
>> Thanks, Sabrina
>>

- A MOTHERLODE OF NETWORKING EVENTS

> Do the Sack Lunches or the Morning Roundtables qualify for CE?
> Ollie

Several of you have asked about the various networking events at Smart
Marriages including questions about: 1) how to register for these events; 2)
how to add your own event; 3) and your question about CE - Continuing
Education credits.

NO, there is no CE for Networking events.

You add a Network event by contacting me, Diane, at diane at smartmarriages.com
Describe what you'd like to add.

There is no need to register for Networking events. If you're registered
for the conference, just show up. Your badge is your ticket.

This year, due to many requests we've added new Networking events. In
addition to the traditional Morning Roundtables (7:30am Thurs, Fri, and
Sat), look for:
- Thurs afternoon Networking Meetings - 5:30pm - 7pm
- Fri afternoon Talkabouts - 4:30 - 6:30pm
- Sack Lunches - 11:30-12:30 on Thurs, Fri, Sat

For a complete list see: http://www.smartmarriages.com/roundtables.html

- SACK LUNCHES - the idea is you go out and get a lunch and come back to
learn about a topic. So far, two are listed:
Fri - Char Kamper will introduce her new school youth, teach-out-of-the-box
curriculum: One, Two, I Do

Sat - Melodie Tucker will present the Ask Mars Venus Coaching program and
answer your questions about how you can become a coach.

- MARTIAN/VESUVIAN BRAIN SCANS

Speaking of John Gray, here's research that supports what he's been saying
all these years....

Men are from Mars
That saying 'Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus' might actually be true
-- at least when it comes to stress. Scientists say the brains of
stressed-out men and women react differently, and may result in unique
responses. WATCH VIDEO: http://tinyurl.com/3j25qp
