I'm not quite sure WHAT this is - it's on msn.com LifeStyle, but I love it.
(And, kind of needed it in the face of all the Spitzer emails.)  Is this
just a slide SHOW put together by Oprah.com or is there a SHOW on TV??  Note
there's a tool to slow down the slide show to give you time to read it.

We've hit a nerve.  I don't know how long we want to continue this thread or
as some of you wonder "Is this an appropriate topic for this list?". One
thing it makes clear is that it's a good thing that we've got lots on sex
and infidelity in the San Francisco conference program. I hope the
sex/infidelity presenters are following this thread.

We still may not be getting it right, but I'm certainly learning as we go -
so imagine it's only fair to continue to share, especially this most recent
flurry of "reactions" from several anonymous males. I am impressed that
you've taken the TIME to open anonymous email accounts. I can't even tell if
"anonymous" might all be from the same person with lots of time on his/her
hands.  But I don't think so.

I can't forward for obvious reasons though this seems to be a theme from
several and it goes something like this, my attempt to summarize:

Get real. All these women wondering WHY?? Have they ever heard "because he
can." Those commenting are not male and haven't got a clue. Also remember
Spitzer is in his 40s. Basically: you know the adage about size matters.
Think of it as a two way street. Spitzer can afford to pay for what's young
(22!), beautiful, and just the right size and shape.  He can also pay for
variety - young, beautiful, accommodating, and different each time. Or he
can order up the same woman if he wants to enjoy illusions of romance. He's
ordering off the menu at a very good club.  It's not that he doesn't want to
have to talk to her or satisfy her - that might be his favorite thing. The
point that ALL men understand is that he (an emperor) can afford gorgeous
women without having to spend time on the hunt and hassle. And, possible
rejection. They're brought to him.  Bottom line: he gets whatever it is
without the entanglements and baggage of an affair.  Kristen or whomever,
leaves when he's done and she's not going to call and ask where he's going
to spend the holidays or if he really loves her. He gets the wife and family
and throne - and Kristens.  Problem he didn't factor in - was getting
caught. The big fly in the adventure. Nobody said being a man is easy. We
try to color inside the lines but understand graffiti guys. Men are not
sitting around asking WHY did he do it?

There was more, but I think that's the point. If I didn't "get it" I trust
you'll let me know. - diane
