- FEDERAL MARRIAGE FUNDING IN DANGER

Urgent Message: Federal Marriage/Fatherhood Funds in Danger

I have been told be leading GOP Senators and top Democratic staff that the
current TANF marriage and fatherhood grants are at the top of the list for
the new Congress to cut and that current grants are likely not to be renewed
in 2010, unless we act immediately.
  
We must act now to educate policy makers about the tremendous value of these
healthy marriage programs.  If we don¹t act immediately, it will be too late
and we may never see another Federal TANF program to fund marriage
strengthening.
