Hi Diane,

Essence's Black Men, Sex and Intimacy section is working on a feature about
couples who made it work despite flawed first impressions.
We are looking for African American couples who married despite the fact
that he has a blue-collar job and she's a corporate professional, or the
woman was taller than the man, or if he had a physical handicap, etc.

The story is about WHY Black women shouldn't overlook the nice guys in front
of them based on snap judgments. Anyone interested can contact me by phone
