- BROCHURES IN BASEMENT
I've been hearing about workshops where presenters have had to tell people
to go to the website to find out about the conference.  I appreciate all
such notices, but it would be so much better to just hand out brochures. If
you've got upcoming meetings/workshops I'll ship as many brochures as you
need.  Or, if you could just use more to hand out in your community, let me
know.  Let's get these BROCHURES OUT OF MY BASEMENT!  Send your address and
how many.  - diane

If you register for the conference you are automatically registered for CE.
For the first time, there is no additional CE charge this year.  And, you'll
complete your evaluation and print your form on-line immediately following

- HOTEL FULL? 
I had several calls this morning telling me the hotel was full on 27th &
28th.  It isn't.  There was just confusion at the 800#.  If you get told the
hotel is full, email me immediately so I can straighten things out.  We are
getting close to full, so urge you to reserve today: 800-444-2326.  You
won't even come close to finding another hotel in the summer in Denver at
the $109 single/double conference rate.  - diane

- PREPARE TO LAST - DAVID OLSON TOOB

Speaking of what's new, here's a great example of the constant innovation in
the field - programs that make the information ever more affordable and
accessible. 

PREPARE TO LAST is based on David Olson's classic PREPARE/ENRICH program,
BUT people do not have to be trained to use the PREPARE/ENRICH inventory to
teach PREPARE to Last.

It is a DVD-based "teach-out-of-the-box" (TOOB) program that introduces a
brand new Online Couple Checkup  a streamlined version of the PREPARE
inventory.  The new Couple Checkup provides direct feedback to couples.
PREPARE to Last also includes a Leader's Group Summary Report that provides
useful information about the couples in the group.

The Group Leader¹s Kit provides everything folks need to begin leading
PREPARE to Last groups -  a Leader's Guide, 3 DVDs with entertaining skits
from Jeff & Debby McElroy, a Couples workbook, and 2 audio CDs that have
guided date-night exercises for couples to practice during the week.   The
program can be taught in 8 weekly sessions or in a 2-day retreat format 
it¹s all up to the facilitator.  There are also Couple Kits for each couple
in the group program that contain the Couple Checkup and Couple Workbooks.
