- LUNCH BY REGION
> Dear Ms. Sollee,
> Georgia Family Council would respectfully request the opportunity to host a
> Georgia Roundtable during the Friday & Saturday breakfast hours of the
> upcoming Smart Marriages Conference in Denver; if no one else has already done
> so. - Jeff Huenniger
The morning roundtables are reserved for topic areas - we'll sit by regions
at the Friday and Sunday lunches. Be sure to put up a GEORGIA table sign
(get table stands at the Registration counter). You might also want to
invite Georgians to have dinner together Saturday - we've a nice long break
from 4:15 - 7pm. The Tony Robbins/Cloe Madanes event begins at 7pm. I
suggest you find a nearby restaurant and put a sign on the bulletin boards
to invite Georgians to join you. I'll copy this to the list so others can
ORGANIZE THEIR STATES. - diane

- SPECIAL INTEREST TOPIC MORNING ROUNDTABLES - THURS, FRI & SAT, 7:30-8:15AM
Roundtables are a great opportunity to network with those that share your
interests, ask questions and explore new areas. Informal, no registration
required. Eat breakfast before you come or bring coffee and a muffin.
A sampling of Roundtables are listed in the brochure (bottom of pg 18 and
program-at-glance pg 17) and are posted on the website. Visit the website to
check out roundtables added since the brochures were printed like Sex, and
Medical Settings. http://www.smartmarriages.com/roundtables.html

- SATURDAY LUNCH TOPIC TABLES
At Saturday's lunch we'll sit by Interest areas: Look for table signs
identifying discussion topics & join in. Email me if you'd like to host a
topic table. This means you will be responsible for the following: 1)
come to the registration desk to get materials to make a table sign or bring
one with you -- nice big bold writing on a 5 x 8 Index card. 2) Put your
table on the ballroom map/table grid so people can find your table. DO 1 &
2 by Fri at 5pm with Amber Martin at the Registration Desk. On Sat when you
enter the ballroom nice and early, pick up a sign stand/sign holder and put
your sign on your table. 4) That's it. No need to prepare a presentation,
your table mates will be off and talking. We'll have tables that will mirror
the Roundtable topics plus many new categories.
Here are just some of the topics we've had in the past. Let me know if
you'll be responsible for hosting one of these, or some other topic. I'll
list them in the badge mailing letters and on the on-site bulletin boards.
We expect 2,000++ at the lunches and there are 10 people per table. So, yes,
you can expect we'll have more than one of some topics and will need more
than one host for some.

- ROOMMATES & EXHIBITS & BANQUETS & VOLUNTEERS
I keep getting the same question and the answer is it is NOT too late to add
an Exhibit, add a Banquet to your registration, find a roommate, or apply as
a student volunteer on a work-exchange. For info visit:

Diane,
Thanks for sending the clarifying info to the list about my workshop. Maybe
if you add this sentence to the workshop description it will all become

The entire conference - ALL events: keynotes, banquets, workshops,
roundtables, exhibits - are held inside the Adam's Mark Hotel. That is why
we say it's nice to stay in the "mother ship" - the conference hotel.
Reserve a room asap, as the hotel is close to selling out. Let them know
you'd like a room in the Plaza Tower near the elevator: 800-444-2326 is the
national Adam's Mark reservation number. If you'd like to make a special
request it might be best to book directly with the DENVER Adams Mark with
Vanessa Valdez, our housing manager, at 303-626-2504.
