Today's NY Times Science section is devoted to latest updates on the
physiological-brain/sociological determinants of arousal, desire, sexual
orientation, attraction patterns and all kinds of gender distinctions (males
show greater variation in intelligence, women more variation in arousal
patterns), sex and aging, etc.  To read online, start here

But it's the entire section, many articles, and I'm sending this heads up so
you can pick up a copy on the newsstand before days end. This is one you
might want to keep. And, by the way, Barry McCarthy who is always one of the
top presenters at Smart Marriages is the only expert quoted.

- ON YOUR DOOR STEP FLYERS: HELP ALERT THE LOCALS
Note that the Sunday afternoon sessions are open to the local public.
Actually, this is confusing. The entire conference, even the training
institutes, are "open" to the public, meaning they can register for any part
of the conference.  But the Sunday afternoon seminars are the only events
for which they can purchase a ticket to see just one session without
registering for the entire conference or for a full day.

SO, if you're in the Denver area let your friends, family, clergy,
colleagues know that they can attend the Sunday afternoon seminars 3-4:30pm
at the Adams Mark for only $15 per person. Eighteen sessions from which to
choose.  

Especially let Family Life Ministers, Youth Ministers, TEACHERS, parents,
teens, Community Marriage Initiative folks know they can attend the FREE
School/Youth Institute that features 5 top curricula for teaching marriage
education in high school, college, youth groups. Thurs June 28,
8:30am-5:30pm.  No registration required.

And, the public is invited to come down to the Adams Mark and browse the
100+ exhibits.  No registration required.  Wed - Sun.

Print these "On Your Doorstep" flyers in bright colors and post them
everywhere to help alert folks to these opportunities.   People often see
articles in the Denver Post about the conference AFTER we've left town.
They call wanting to know when we'll be back and it's sad when I have to
tell them we won't be back for years....if ever. They are often upset -
angry and incredulous that we didn't do a better job of alerting the locals.
