- SMART MARRIAGES CONFERENCE 2007

It worries me that there are some of you who haven't heard the 2007 location
and dates.  The 11th Smart Marriages Conference will be in Denver June 29 -
July 1 at the downtown Adam's Mark Hotel. Or, June 26 - July 3 if you count
the pre and post conference Training Institutes.  Last time we met in Denver
we had practically the same dates and many took advantage of the July 4th
holidays and had their families join them and stayed over to hike through
the Rockies.  We've got unbelievable rates of $109 single/double at the
Adams Mark - they are taking reservations at 800-444-2326.

exhibits will all be located on one floor in the very large prefunction area
just outside the main ballroom.

- VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS: ALERT YOUR STUDENTS, KIDS TO THIS OPPORTUNITY

Students that would like to volunteer in Denver, should send me an email and
I'll put you on the list.  I send out the volunteer applications just as
soon as I have the Institute schedule set which is usually mid November.
Volunteers can also attend the Institutes so I need to have Institute info
available before volunteers commit to travel and roommate schedules.
Volunteers basically attend the entire conference on a work-exchange
agreement. They don't miss a thing - attend a full schedule of workshops and
keynotes, and gain a great behind the scenes perspective.  They also have
the option of staying in volunteer discounted dorm rooms. Please alert your

I've been getting calls from people frustrated that I've not responded to
their emails.  Turns out I never received them because they simply hit
"reply" when they were reading the list serv. That doesn't work. Those
emails are shunted off into some cyberspace hole - automatically rejected as
"posts to a moderated list".  If you want to reach me you have to open a NEW
email and address it to me (diane "at" smartmarriages.com) or (cmfce "at"
smartmarriages.com)  I write it this strange way as the list serv morphs
email addresses so as to protect all of us from email spam. - diane
