Now is the time for all those that care about Marriage Education to come the
aid of their country and serve as grant reviewers. Hundreds of Marriage
grants have now been submitted. Those that submitted can't apply to be
reviewers, so it's up to the rest of you. Plus it's a great opportunity -
great food, they treat you well, AND you see the process from inside so
you'll be better equipped for the next round of grants/money.

There is nothing like reviewing grants to learn how to write one. Most
people I know that have won grants cut their teeth this way. And they want
and need reviewers with marriage education expertise! That's YOU. There is
no better way to CONTRIBUTE to our Marriage Education movement than to
volunteer for this.

Reviews will be held during the following weeks this summer in Washington,
DC - expenses and stipend paid. But don't bring the family thinking you'll
have time to see the sites. You'll be reading grants late into the night.

1-4 weeks starting last week in July (Mon-Sat) at National Conference
Center http://www.conferencecenter.com/ near Dulles airport.

*    July 24th-July 29th
*    July 31st-August 5th
*    August 7th-August 12th
*    August 14th-August 19th

The Administration for Children and Families, Office of Family Assistance is
seeking qualified professionals to serve as reviewers and panel chairpersons
for our upcoming Healthy Marriage and Responsible Fatherhood Grant Reviews.
Potential reviewers must guarantee in writing that no conflict of interest
exists. Serving as an officer, director, trustee, partner, or employee of
the applicant organization, or having a close family member in such a
position, is a prime example of such a conflict. Any past, present, or
anticipated financial relationship of the reviewer or a family member would
also be a breach of this principle.

If you are interested in participating, and need more information please
visit: www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/grantreview or call 1 (866) 779-8457.
