TAH DAH - CONFERENCE BROCHURE IS ON-LINE

The SMART MARRIAGES Altanta 2006 conference brochure is now posted on the
website as a downloadable pdf.

HOWEVER, the registrar will not be ready until March 1st to begin processing
registrations. So there is NO POINT in mailing or faxing in your
registration until March 1st.

PLUS, on March 1st the ON-LINE registration form will be posted and you can
register on-line. On-line registration is the most secure, most accurate way
to register.  I encourage you to wait for that.

I also encourage you to wait until you receive brochures in the mail.  It's
just easier to register with the real thing in your hands.  The brochures
will be in the mail to you by the end of the month and you should receive
yours the first week of March.

- HOTEL 
DID YOU book your room in advance and reserve early arrival or departure
dates just to cover your bases?  Did you book extra rooms for colleagues
that won't be coming?   Now that you have the program, please call and
adjust to the actual room nights you will be staying.  Call 800-228-9290 NOW
to release any rooms you won't be using. Do this now, so 1) you won't be
charged for unused room nights, and 2) so that others won't be shut out of
the hotel unnecessarily.

IF YOU DON'T YET HAVE A RESERVATION, call and reserve your room BEFORE the
brochures hit the mail. Call the Marriott Marquis Hotel 800-228-9290. If you
have a problem, try Marriott Customer Service: 800-535-4028 or the hotel
directly at 404-521-0000.

Be SURE you ask for the Smart Marriages rate of $89 single/double.  The
agents will not prompt you.  They'll simply ask if you are traveling on
business or pleasure. At this point if you say either, they'll tell you the
hotel is completely sold out.  You have to say you're attending the Smart
Marriages Conference.

If you ask for June 22 - 28 and they tell you, "sorry it's sold out over
your dates" ask them WHICH dates you can get a room, and book it.  Then
contact me and we'll work on the nights they shut you out.  - diane

It is too late to submit a workshop proposal, however, there is still time
to submit a POSTER Session application.

$595.  Send an email if you would like to receive an exhibit application.

If you've moved and haven't sent your new postal mailing address, and you'd
like to receive a brochure, send your address.
