- UNNATURAL SELECTION: HE'S NOT MY TYPE

Here's a great article from the current issue of TANGO Magazine.
I think you'll find it useful in your work (you could hand it out at the
beginning of all your "How to Avoid Marrying a Jerk" or "LoveU2" classes) -
and maybe with your daughters or a favorite niece. This is just a snippet.
Maybe one that Nancy McLaren will add to the next edition of "Loving Well".
I urge you to click the link and read the full piece. The author, Leslie
Bennett's new book, The Feminine Mistake, will be published by Hyperion in
April. Sounds promising. - diane

- TANGO - GREAT FREE OFFER TO THE SMARTMARRIAGES LISTSERV

Many of you are familiar with TANGO magazine. Andrea Miller, TANGO founder,
attended the Smart Marriages conference even before the magazine launched.
She's sent Tango reporters to each conference since and they've featured
many great articles, including the "One Plus One" series by Kelly Bare, that
I've shared with the list. She's the one that got engaged and attended Smart
Marriages and then attended a bunch of marriage education classes with her
fiancee:

Harville Hendrix, Helen LaKelly Hunt, Pat Love, and I are on their expert

familiar.....

Now, they're making a special offer to Smart Marriages list serv
subscribers: a year-long free subscription to the magazine AND/OR a two
month free subscription to the on-line, digital version. No catches as far
as a I can see - and no deal between them and me/smartmarriages. I'm simply
passing their offer along to you. They assure me your contact info won't be
sold and that there is no way you will be billed at the end of the "free
subscription" period. If you only subscribe so you can scope them out and
figure out how to best propose articles and give them your own expert
advice, that's reason enough. They are always looking for good
