- A HOLIDAY PRESENT: FREE PRE-MARITAL WORKBOOK
Tamara Rock is generously sharing a pre-marital workbook she created while
working at a human services agency in Michigan. Includes exercises. She
says you are welcome to download the pdf and use it in your work or
preparing for your own marriage, for free!

- EXHIBITS REMINDER
ALL indicators are that Atlanta 2006 is going to be our biggest ever Smart
Marriages Conference. That's good news for Exhibitors. Only problem is that
Although the Marriott Marquis is a beautiful, elegant hotel it doesn't have
the unlimited space we had in Texas (nothings as big as those Texas
hotels!). Exhibits will definitely sell out this year. If you plan to
exhibit, get your application in ASAP. Exhibits are $595 and are open Wed
June 21 at 9am - Sun June 25 at 6pm. Email if you need an application.

- CATHOLIC MARRIAGE EDUCATION
Diane:
I'm doing an article for The National Catholic Register on marriage
education and would like to interview Catholic couples that have benefited
from marriage education in a Catholic setting. Can be premarital, marriage
enrichment, stepfamilies, etc. Please have couples contact me at:

- MY GIFT TO YOU
Tamara gave you a workbook. So, I want to give you something, too.
Call me crazy, but I think just telling you about this article is a gift:
--"Coach Leach Goes Deep, Very Deep" about the football coach at Texas Tech
which was the cover story in this Sunday's New York Times Magazine. It's
one of the best articles I've ever read. It's not about marriage or
marriage education, but if you're like me, anything can teach us marriage
educators new lessons -- about DELIVERY: Flexible Delivery. About Changing
things up to get a different response. ETC. And, if anyone out there wants
to give me a gift, tell me how I could watch a Texas Tech game on TV. I've
no idea how to figure that out. - diane
