I also want to caution you that the top-rated session by John Gray gets off
to a slow start. This is because it is preceded on the tape (video or
audio) by a tribute to Shirley Glass, author of Not Just Friends, who died
last fall. It was a long tribute that brought things down and it took John
a while to transition - to reestablish the energy in the room. You might
want to fast forward to around the time when he moves the podium. I haven't
been able to watch it as I need a new DVD player, but as I remember it, it
was right after that, that he started hitting his groove. You might want to
watch the Glass tribute and long intro of John once, but certainly if you're
showing it to your husband or to a group or friends, skip the opening and
start AFTER he gets things/the room and the crowd - going.
