SMART MARRIGES E-NEWSLETTER SNAFU!!

€€Today I discovered a major problem with the news list.  Since August 19th,
when the server changed programs, those who subscribed to the list on the
smartmarriages website have not received the newsletter!

That was 2,956 of you.  You subscribed  - did everything right - and were
sent a "welcome to the Smart Marriages news list" email.  And then you never
heard from us again. Until right now.

Apparently you had no idea of what to expect, and were waiting patiently for
the newsletter to begin arriving.  A very nice guy contacted me yesterday to
ask when the newsletter was starting.... and I unraveled the full horror.

So, welcome to the list!

Approximately two posts to the list are sent each day - so you missed about
100 posts.  You can read back through what you missed on the archive at
http://lists.his.com/smartmarriages/index.html

I do sometimes however travel - and when I'm not here no posts go out. You
can always check the archive to see if the news list is being sent.  If you
see it's going out, and you're not receiving it, go to the web site and
resubscribe.  (Major domo will automatically unsubscribe addresses with full
mailboxes - those addresses that bounce back as "undeliverable".)

€€Even worse, all of you who unsubscribed since August are now added
back into the list.  Both the subscribe and unsubscribe scripts were
affected.  I do apologize! We have no way of knowing who had unsubscribed.
You will have to unsubscribe again.

€€Ditto with changes of address!

So, if you need to unsubscribe or change your address, please go to the web
site - http://www.smartmarriages.com

Click E-Newsletter.  Then enter your email address in the subscribe or
unsubscribe box and click those buttons or hit enter.

To change addresses, subscribe the new address and unsubscribe the old one.

So sorry for this mess.  Technology!  But where would we be without it.
