Here is an updated Training Schudule for Mike and Harriett McManus for 
Marriage Savers.  You are all welcome to attend these training events
but you need to contact the person indicated in each place for details.
Note that they are training rabbis and Seventh Day Adventist clergy in 
Arkansas 
and pesenting at the Philadelphia Community Marriage Policy 
event organized by Rita DeMaria in October. 

        March 7-8, 2000: Washington D.C.: The National Association of
Evangelicals has invited Mike and Harriet to conduct two 90 minute
workshops on creating Community Marriage Policies and Marriage Saver
Churches to the heads of more than 50  denominations, members of the NAE.

        March 11: Washington: American Leadership Conference: Power Point
talk to civic, political  and religious leaders on how to create a
Community Marriage Policy and Marriage Saver Churches at the Sheraton
National Hotel in Arlington, 3:30-5 p.m.

        March 18, 2000: Lansing, MI:  American Baptist Clergy of Michigan:
After a three hour seminar for clergy and wives, and a talk .  At lunch we
will talk about how pastors can return to their communities to create a
Community Marriage Policy®, and we will train in the FOCCUS and REFOCCUS

        March 24-25: Harrisonburg, VA training of Mentor Couples and
pastors in how to create a Marriage Savers Church on Friday night and all
day Saturday at Grace Covenant Church.   More than 60 clergy signed a CMP

        April 8: Washington: American Leadership Conference: Power Point
talk to civic, political and religious leaders on how to create a 
Community
Marriage Policy and Marriage Saver Churches at the Sheraton National Hotel
in Arlington, 3:30-5 p.m.

        May 5-6: Rome, GA: Mike and Harriet will conduct a 3 hour Clergy
Seminar at Hollywood Baptist Church. on Friday afternoon, before the
signing of a Rome Community Marriage Policy®.  We will then train Mentors
and clergy in how to create Marriage Saver Churches Friday night and all

        May 19-20: Albuquerque, NM: Sen. Mark Boitano is organizing a
state-wide      Marriage Summit. Call Patricia Owen 505 291-5420.

        June 28-29: Denver: Marriage Savers® will hold its third national
 training on "How To Create a Marriage Savers Congregation" as a two-day 
pre-
conference training institute at the Smart Marriages Conference. 
The speakers will be those who have pioneered major couple mentoring 
answers: Dr. Barbara Markey, creator of the FOCCUS inventory, Mike & 
Harriet McManus on training Mentor Couples for premarital preparation; 
Rev. Dick and Phyllis McGinnis, on Marriage
Ministry, a local church-based use of "back-from-the-brink couples" which
saves 90% of the worst marriages, Rev. Dick Dunn, creator of Stepfamily
Support Groups that save 80% of families with children from previous
marriages. 

        June 30-July 2: Smart Marriages Conference participation on 
various
panels in Denver.

        July 21-23, 2000 St. Paul, MN   Lutheran Marriage Encounter
International Family  Celebration. We will be keynote speakers. Contact:

        Sept. 27-28: Hot Springs, AR: Seventh Day Adventists clergy and
rabbis from Arkansas and Louisiana will take two days of training to 
create
Marriage Saver Congregations    from Mike & Harriet McManus.  Call Jim

        Oct. 27-28: Philadelphia suburbs (Montgomery County) Mike and
Harriet will help leaders of PAIRS, a skills-training group, in organizing
a Community Marriage Policy® Call Rita DeMaria, 215 643-7659.
