behavioral health issues in clinic.<br><br>What was requested: "We need specific training to deal with major <br>psychiatric disorders as the primary care provider. This would <br>include medical updates on the disorders and specific training on use <br>
of medications. We should learn both "optimal" and formulary based <br>therapies (ie Medi-cal formulary)<br><br>There are three principal areas of interest:<br>1. Depression<br>2. Affective disorders (ie manic depressive)<br>
3. Thought disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective)<br><br>Some of the training could be selected reading for us chosen by a <br>psychiatrist (background information). True false questions or exam <br>based learning is good too. Lectures created specifically for our <br>
