Dr. Blount:
I like very much the way you've assembled these instruments for this purpose
(although I confess, at first I was ready to order the beer pictured at the
end).
Do you have data correlating scores from this format with those from the
several instruments in their original formats? Or is it more a matter of
common sense that their reliability and validity this way is probably
similar to the originals?
Thank you,
Phil Hirsch

Workforce factors pose barriers to the integration of behavioral health
and primary care service delivery. One of these barriers is the
accessibility, relevance, and effectiveness of training. I would like to
invite all of you to share announcements of upcoming training
opportunities in healthcare integration via this Listserve as we work
together to overcome obstacles to healthcare integration.
This training opportunity announcement was provided by Dr. Lori Raney:

Good Afternoon Everyone,
We have recently received some requests for examples of assessment tools
and treatment planning tools that organizations are using in integrated
healthcare settings. We have been asked for examples from both types of
settings whether located in an FQHC or Primary Care setting and those in
a Community Mental Health Center
Some feedback we have been receiving is that in the bi-directional
integration from the CMHC setting into the FQHC/Primary Care setting the
existing Treatment Plans and Assessment Tools are quite long and do not
necessarily fit well into the short term, solution focused setting for
providing the Mental Health service.
If anyone has examples of these two tools that have passed the necessary
accreditation and CMS reviews, they would be willing to share with the
broader community it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your assistance.
