Hello Lynn:
You might check out http://www.cqaimh.org/index.html, which developed
measures for integrated care as a part of the RWJ funded Depression in
Primary Care project. They have developed a searchable data base for
measurements in mental health and substance use programs, in varying
setting.

Hi everyone,
I'm a psychologist based in hospital medicine. I work at a med-surg
facility, and have no outpatient work. Essentially, I'm a psychologist
C/L service. I receive consults primarily from hospitalists, but also
from some specialty services. At this point, patients aren't billed and
our visits are documented in the medical chart. I think I have a great
job.
However, Our chief is looking for objective measures by which to review
our performance. Currently, we report our annual patient contacts.
However, for our performance reviews, our activities don't "fit" the
physician criteria (All CHF patients admits are followed on the CHF
protocol), nor do they fit the outpatient Behavioral Health criteria (On
time for appointments).
I'm open to any suggestions anyone would like to make regarding
measurable
objective criteria.
Thanks
L
