On June 18, at 12:00 Eastern time, there will be a conference call to
discuss the training of mental health professionals who want to work in,
or are working in, primary care. We will discuss what material is
needed to help people be prepared for the culture, pace, and language of
primary care in addition to being able to find the resources to address
the particular needs of patients there. In the process, we will discuss
a training program called the Certificate Program in Primary Care
Behavioral Health. The program is presented by the Department of Family
Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Medical
School. Members of the pc-bh-integration list are particularly invited
to participate.
The dial in no. is 800 444-2801. The conference code is 7856228.
