To people interested in Integrated Primary Care:
I want to recommend that you have a look at the website of the ICARE
Partnership in North Carolina. <http://www.icarenc.org/>
http://www.icarenc.org/ The initials stand for the type of healthcare they
are promoting: "We are partners in creating a healthcare system that is
Integrated, Collaborative, Accessible, Respectful and Evidence-Based." It is
funded by North Carolina sources interested in promoting health and guided
by a partnership between a number of leading health organizations in North
Carolina, including the NC Academy of Family Physicians, the NC Pediatric
Society, the NC Psychiatric Association and the NC Psychological
Association. I think it is a ground-breaking alliance, worth promoting and
disseminating.
