What we are finding in Massachusetts and I assume it is the same
nationally, is we can not bill for primary care codes unless we are the PCP
of record. This is per the existing, albeit, outdated, Medicaid regs. This
is a problem as our program provides primary care in the behavioral
healthcare setting, using primary care nurse practitioners. Our target
patient population is adults with serious mental illness . jb
