Hello and welcome,
For those of you attending the NCCBH conference sessions on primary care
integration, you received an updated version of the NCCBH Background
Paper on Integration that cross walks the 4 Quadrant Model to EBPs. If
you didn't see the paper at the conference, you can go to the Primary
Care Integration Resource Center at www.nccbh.org, hit the PC
Integration button on the left side of the page, which takes you into
the first page of the resource center. At the bottom of the page, you
can access all the presentations on integration made at the 2004
conference.
Specifically, if you go to I-7 Models from the Field and click on
Handout 1, you will be able to download the paper. This is a work in
progress and we hope this list serve will be a vehicle for feedback and
discussion on these ideas.
Those who haven't seen the original paper from the 2003 NCCBH Conference
should go to Understanding the Role of NCCBH on the first page of the
Resource Center.....click on this and you will come to the page with the
Background Paper, which can be downloaded.
An item of great interest to all of us will be the implementation of
HRSA's Program Information Notice (PIN) 2004-05, regarding Medicaid
payments to FQHCs. If you go to I-7 Models from the Field (described
above) and click on Tool 1, you will be able to download the PIN. Under
Session C-1, Does Each of Your Clients Have A Medical Home, go to Tool 2
to find a brief article regarding PIN 2004-05, published in the March
issue of NC News.
So, a first question for participants--how is your state Medicaid agency
implementing PIN 2004-05 ?
