Yes.  It is not correct. Weinberger escaped a possibly lengthy show 
trial because of a presidential pardon.  He would never have gone to 
jail regardless.  The fact that politicians have used the special 
prosecutor process to criminalize politics has little or nothing to 
do with actual breaking of any laws, as the Scooter Libby fiasco has 
shown.
