Books about CIA shortcomings or political shortcomings

I sure echo Mr. D'Amato's view,  expressed below.  I am sure that, while it
is virtually impossible to avoid  something of political overtones found in
such books, there is lots of room for  examination and comment on the evidence
and content of these rather rushed  works.

even a grunt--from our knowledgeable members about  these recent books.  If
