9-11 REDUX-- A blind EYE OR TWO OR THREE AT THE ONCE GREAT FBI.

GREETINGS GOOD PEOPLE.

 From time to time I feel a hard rub.  Recently I felt a hard rub from an
article which appeared in the Winter Spring 2004 edition of the highly esteemed
journal THE INTELLIGENCER-- Journal of U. S. Intelligence Studies.

This magazine is published by the Association of Former Intelligence
Officers.

In this issue a person by the name of M. E. Bowman writes an article titled
THE LEGACY OF THE CHURCH COMMITTEE.

While the article is very well written something began to give me the feeling
that I would not feel very secure under this persons command.

"What would that be" you ask?  Well, for one thing he puts quotation marks
around the word menace when describing the Bolshevik "menace."

Now I helped some folks escape from the "menace" in the early 60's.

Trust me this gang known as Bolsheviks were and still are a menace.

Now you ask "why do I get all concerned with this person putting quotes
around the word menace.

Well, let me tell you.  You see by placing the quotation marks around the
word menace, you are holding up to ridicule those of us who in the 
past have used
that word to describe communism.

"Oh gee whiz"you say.  "Yes, gee whiz" I say.

I have spent many hours, days, weeks months with folks who endured and
escaped from the "menace" in the 50's and 60's.

Trust me the word menace is appropriate.

"Well, so what" you say--"so what."

Well, Mr. J.  Edgar Hoover a man who I wish was still here [9/11 would never
have happened on his watch-trust me] used the word menace whenever he gave a
lecture or testimony on the nature of the enemy COMMUNISM.

Which brings me up to the next question I raise from this "article" by Mr.
bowman?

This person refers to the House Committee on Un-American Activities as
INFAMOUS.

Well, is that not neat.  INFAMOUS.

The House Committee on Un- American Activities was responsible for bringing
Alger Hiss to justice.

He would prdobalbly have gone on to become our Secretatry of State and if
things went his way he would have lived to see the likes of ME in some gulag
getting re- educated.

They do that you know -- they reeducate you.

Next.  Mr. Hoover used the House Committee on Un-American Activities as his
fulcrum in the late 40's to get the word out.

So what do we have here.  We have a perspon by the name of Bowman who works
for the FBI.

This person  even gets an award for his work.

Oh. What happened next.

Well, did you ever hear of a guy who goes by the name
Zacarias Moussaoui.

Did you ever hear of a lady FBI agent by the name of Colleen Rowley?

WELL READ ON.

After you finish reading the letter to Director Mueller from Senators Leahy,
Grassley and Spector-- finish reading the interim report on FBI oversight in
the 107th Congress by the Senate Judiciary Committee on the subject of FISA
IMPLEMENTATION FAILURES.

And you read how this guy "spike" Bowman and his team of three shut down our
only avenue to light in the pre 9-11 days.

THEN THIS OLD NIGHT FIGHTER PILOT SAYS.

  "Menace" is a word appropriate for use to describe the mentality of our
present FBI "leadership"

"Infamous"  is a word appropraite for use to describe  the post J. Edgar
Hoover FBI leadership's  legacy.
