COMMENT: What's intelligence history worth (except as a pretty
plaything) if not to draw lessons for the future? Yet drawing lessons
for the future is a matter of intelligence prediction. Although Mike Dravis
himself may be exclusively preoccupied with the past, does he mean
to say that lots of other people on this listserve cannot possibly
have any interest in the future or that their interest is "irrelevant"?
